UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres informed a United Nations Safety Council assembly in New York that Palestinians have been “subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation” by Israel and the assaults by Hamas on 7 October “didn’t occur in a vacuum.”
Guterres mentioned he’s involved “clear violations of worldwide humanitarian regulation” had been dedicated by Israel in Gaza which has left virtually 6,000 Palestinians useless and lots of extra 1000’s wounded following Israeli strikes.
Gaza is round 27 miles lengthy and about 7.5 miles extensive and lots of have claimed that the Gaza Strip is the worlds largest focus camp which is residence to 2.3 million Palestinians.

Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick mentioned the UK doesn’t assist Guterres’s feedback, he informed Sky Information, “We don’t consider Israel has damaged worldwide regulation.
“There’s a clear proper in worldwide regulation for a nation to defend itself, and that’s what Israel is doing.”
Jenrick was requested on ITV’s Good Morning Britain about Guterres’s feedback, he mentioned, “No-one, whether or not intentionally or in any other case, ought to be implying there may be any justification for that.
“In that sense, I feel he was mistaken. I hope that isn’t what he meant however, whether it is, then he ought to retract that.”
