Russia has been accused of blowing up the Nova Kakhovka hydroelectric dam which provides water to Europe’s largest nuclear energy plant and consultants are warning of “catastrophic penalties.”

In a Telegram submit, Zelensky stated Russia launched the assault at 2.50am. He added, “Russian terrorists carried out an inner detonation of the buildings of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Energy Plant.
“It was ordered to hold out evacuation from threat areas and to offer consuming water to all cities and villages that had been provided with water from the Kakhovka Reservoir.
“We do every part to avoid wasting individuals. All providers, army, authorities, workplace are concerned.”
Article 56 of the 1977 Extra Protocol I states, “Works and installations containing harmful forces, particularly dams, dykes and nuclear electrical producing stations, shall not be made the item of assault, even the place these objects are army targets, if such assault could trigger the discharge of harmful forces and consequent extreme losses among the many civilian inhabitants.
